Tommy Keyes played in prominent bands in the 1970s then disappeared for almost 40 years. Returning to music in 2016, he’s currently touring in support of his 4th album, Temptation Once Again. His blues-inflected singing and piano-playing are reminiscent of Randy Newman and early Tom Waits.

The Randomers – 5 years ago at an open mic night in Jim Doyles. Johnny and Damian Joyce spontaneously joined in with Caoimhe Messitt on stage. That was the beginning of a band which, like many others has seen additions and subtractions in personnel. With the recent acquisitions of Klaus Jensen on lead guitar and Seay Ledwidge on keyboard we have the right formula now. Our aim is to play obscure covers untouched by other bands and to write and perform original numbers in a collaborative manner. All band members live in Bray which is very convenient. We are hobby musicians with no aspirations other than to enjoy ourselves, entertain others and create something new. Lineup: Caoimhe Messitt (lead vocals and acoustic guitar) Damian Joyce (rhythm guitar and backing vocals) Claus Jensen (lead guitar) Seay Ledwidge (keyboard) and Johnny Joyce (drums).
