This exhibition of drawings explores the contradictions, drama, tensions and transformations found within nature and invites the viewer to pause and engage with these themes from their own perspective.
O’Faherty has developed an individual language of marks and drawing techniques using materials such as burnt cork and driftwood charcoal to create dramatic and expressive drawings.
Melissa O’Faherty is a visual artist from County Wicklow and this is her first solo exhibition at Signal Arts Centre. O’Faherty lives and works in County Wicklow and where she finds inspiration from natural found sources.
